Norstone recently completed this beautifully contemporary house in summer 2011.

The brief to Norstone was to create a softness and seductiveness, whose materials are harmonious with the country side. More importantly the beauty must be evident at night time.

As you can see, with the light washing up against the Norstone Charcoal Rock Panels, has created an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation.....you are drawn into the house, just wanting to be invited in, to explore further. Architectural design, should always create this anticipation, but as you can see in the accompanying photo's, the client's brief came to life. Food for thought.
